Previously, Head of Digital Marketing for Investec Group, I was responsible for the development and execution of the brand’s digital marketing strategy across all touch-points.

Studying design and marketing, my career started as a digital designer and developer. After driving “Heavy Digital Media” at South Africa’s first integrated marketing agency, TBWA/tool, I founded and lead my own digital agency Blink New Media for 9 years, followed by a new joint venture Blue Apple Interactive.

Following that I headed up gloo Johannesburg, as MD and leading client strategy. Over 5 years, growing from 1 client and 5 staff to multiple top brands and 140 people.

I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of brands including BMW, MINI, Nissan, Vodacom, Cell C, MTN, Clinique Happy, Ben Sherman, Pringle of Scotland, Sun International, Microsoft, South African Tourism, FNB, Virgin Money, Standard Bank, ABSA, Nedbank, Teba Bank and African Bank, Liberty Life, Iced Zoo, Provita Crunchyvites & PPC Cement.

I’ve collected a fairly large shelf of Loeries, Midas Awards, Assagais and Bookmarks and been on the Loeries judging panel for 12 years – once as chairman.
